  • Hey Congrats Jim

    What’s it like being a Grandad …?

Hopefully I gotta few years yet, although Shirley says I already look like one …

    [SULK!]

Best Wishes to the family from LimeyLand …

    Cheers

    Nick :o )

  • Hi Nick,

    It feels wonderful :-)

    Thanks

    Jim

  • That’s absolutely fabulous, Jim! With an “out-of-the-box” Grandaddy like you, that kid is in for a for a ride that will make DisneyWorld seem tame! See you at the Big Seminar!

  • Congratulations Jim! What a cutie! I love your sense of humor with the video. Now THAT’s gonna be a cherished keepsake for that baby when he grows up. And future generations ta’boot will know how cool and funny you are. I’m very happy for all of you. Have fun with this wonderful little guy! :)

  • What a cute baby… looks just like his Grandaddy… :)

Congrats to all. I see plenty of quality video gaming times ahead with little Johnie and Grandaddy!!!

    Cheers Ian

  • Jim

Congrats to you and yours. What a cute baby. I’m a first time granddad as well as my daughter had twin boys so I’ve become a bit of an expert (well 6 weeks anyway)

    Many blessings to all

    John

  • Susanne F:

Hey, where’s the affiliate link to cheaf diapers brought to your house every weeek?

I’ll tell John when he gets older – you lost a good business opportunity…

    Just kidding – just kidding….

Congrats … I always cry when I hold and see newborns…

May his life be full of love.

  • scott cunningham:

He’s a born marketer! The first words out of his mouth were selling his grandpa’s product.

That’s awesome. Did he listen to marketing books on tape in the womb?

    Scott….

  • What?? no Hawaiian baby outfit for John? What a beautiful treasure he is !
    Best wishes to everyone!

  • hi jimbo–

i want to congratulate you on the beautiful baby.

i do labor and delivery nursing (in my free time!!) and am always touched by each birth—

the angels are there, i’m convinced!!

    peace and good cheer,

    kate loving shenk

  • Many congratulations to the new grandpa, grandma, parents and whole family. You may want to hold off introducing little John to the WHOLE family – like Cousin Jim. He could be in for a little surprise, and may even question his geneology. . .

    Enjoy him!

  • Rick:

Congrats ol’ Granddad! The first is always special. I have 5 grandkids with the last two born on back to back days this past July. Same hospital, same floor!

The best part for you and your wife is, you can love ‘em and hand them back to the parents.

    Enjoy!

    Rick

  • Wait! Wait! Where are the Google ads? :-) … you should have opened John’s Google Ads weeks ago, and he’d already be in the Bucks, today! hehe.

What a be-yooo-tiful baby, Jim (and of course, mom and dad!) What an exciting time this always is, and I think your video is so clever. Imagine being born at this time and growing up with all this technology already in place. Like learning a second language, which is always easiest if you are exposed at an early age. This little John will never experience the ‘learning curve’ that we’ve gone through. Jim, congrats, and thanks for bringing this to us. What a way to start the day, eh?

    Leanne

  • Hi Gang,

Thanks [sniff] – brings a tear of joy to my eyes… this little guy is something special!

… and YES – we got him a Hawaiian print jumper (red w/ white flowers) to match granpa’s shirt (oh the humanity of it!)

Stay tuned… I’ve found a new sidekick for the videos (he better not ask for any royalties… I wonder if I should get a disclaimer signed now… hmmmm….

    Granpa Jim

  • Jim. You have every right to be proud! Congrats and happy spoiling :) That is the best part of being a grandparent… Spoil them and send them home, or in our case, spoil them and never want them to go home!

  • Wow, cool. Congrats Jim. It was 4 years ago TODAY that my little girl was born!

  • Vencia:

Awww…what a little cutie! Congratulations, Jim and family. I can hardly wait to see him in his Hawaiian print jumper! :)

  • Mike:

    Hi Jim & Terri
    Congrats on becoming grampies.
As a harried Dad, I reckon grandparenting has got to be the best parenting you can do.
    Enjoy
    Mike

  • Samantha:

    Jim — Congratulations!!

I thought this was some kind of bizzare marketing ploy to claim your grandchild was the 300 millionth american we’ve been hearing so much about! :-)

    I’ve gotta ask, you’re a young guy… what, like 39? I can’t imagine that the baby’s parents are much older than 18 or 19?

    Congratulations!!

  • Anita Thibeault:

    Congratulations to you Jim!!

You won’t believe how much you will fall in love with this little baby. Just when you think you love him so much, you will discover that you love him even more. And don’t think that you won’t have any morel ove for another grandchild because you’ll find that you love all of them more than you ever thought possible.

Spend time with him when you can. You won’t believe how fast time passes and how fast they grow up. The song made popular by Frank Sinatra…..turn around and your two….turn around and your a young man going off on your own…is so true.

Enjoy that beautiful baby boy!! (and teach him all those marketing tips and tricks!)

  • Hi Guys,

We went back and played with him last night… he slept the whole time… no crying… he made a bunch of funny faces while sleeping and some interesting noises I could have used as sound bites in a “Smacker” video.

He’s sooooooooooooooo cute… I’m gonna love him and spoil him and teach him to be the world’s best video game player :-)

    Jim

  • Diane Mayotte:

    Jim,

He is beautiful! We have 3 grandsons and an18 month old granddaughter. The boys are great but the granddaughter is everyone’s princess since she is the first girl. Even my daughter (Mom of two of the boys) spoils her since she doesn’t have any girls.

You think you can’t love your children any more and then the grandchildren come and you find out what love truly is.

Congratulations to you Jim and your family.

    Diane

  • John:

    Congratulations Grandpa Jim!
How much commission are you going to pay him for the sales he makes?
Just don’t hold him in front of any crocodiles, or on your lap while driving, ok?

  • Congratulations Jim! Handsome boy! Take Care.

  • That was adorable. Freshly born, and already taking after Grandpa in marketing.
    Welcome to the world John!

  • Congrats Jim!!! Thanks for sharing with us :)
