Website Video Online - Better than Saturday morning cartoons!

Jim Edwards here with a quick update.

I’ve been doing a lot of experiments with Google’s new
Video Store
in the last week (testing various formats,
lengths, etc.).

I’ve got one video that I could easily charge for, but I
decided to give it to you in exchange for YOUR *feedback*.

STEP #1 - You can watch this full-length video right now -
for FR’EE -through Google Video…

Title: “How To Use Website Audio Buttons To
Skyrocket Your Sales”

VIDEO -> http://www.igottatellyou.com/GoogleButtonVideo.html

This FR’EE video will teach you my “FORMULA” to create audio
messages for your website that will increase sales, increase
subscriptions, and have people clicking your links on your
website.

STEP #2 - After you watch the video, please leave feedback
about it here on my blog (below).

You can also see my other videos on Google Video here:

More VIDEO -> http://www.igottatellyou.com/JimGoogle.html

Have a great weekend!

Jim, clean video, good presentation, now I want to take that course in person, dam*it!

Thanks for sharing this, it is so exciting! Your presentation makes so much sense, and it explained why we need a video in our presentations.

Larry :

Hi, Jim:

Thanks for the helpful and informative video presentation on creating audio buttons for your site.

I really liked it and got a good idea of how to proceed with creating some for my sites.

Larry

Great video. You could have charged for that one and I would have paid! I was planning to experiment with audio buttons over the next week and your video was very timely.

As always Jim, whether it’s something by YOU or something you and Yanik Silver are doing, you are right on top of things and show us how to do it!

Well done on this video about your Audio Formula. I will certainly go back to listen to my own audio to see if I have followed all of your steps. And Google Video looks really cool too!

Peter V :

Hi Jim,

I just watched, thru Google’s new video store, your free video about the formula to create audio messages for websites.

Man! Jim, you are spot-on when you identify streaming video products and presentations as the next big thing in Internet marketing.

In fact, to paraphrase Vince Lombardi, streaming Internet video products and presentations won’t be the next big thing… they’ll be the only thing!

Nancy :

Thanks for the video, Jim! I remember a few months ago, you gave away an awesome idea for recording our ebook highlights.

After watching this video, I’m going to record a little message for my problem solving website, “18 Ways to Stop Cat Urine Odor Problems.”

BTW, dude…red is NOT your color! I suggest you go with bright blue hawaiian shirts!

Mike :

Great job, Jim.

I’d have paid for that one.

A step-by-step guide to how to use audio on your site is an invaluable tool that I’ll refer to over and over.

Derek :

Great job Jim!

Here’s something viral I just noticed about Google Video which, to me at least, really drives home the point of how awesome the Google Video concept is.

With each video, there is now a link that reads ‘Put on site’.

Click on this link and a box opens with some HTML code for placing that video on any page.

Talk about an incredible way to get exposure without having to pay for bandwidth.

WOW!

Create videos, upload ‘em to Google Video, and encourage people to put the video on their own site.

Viral!

And, if I’m not mistaken, you can easily overwrite that video with a new one, allowing you create a new weekly show that appears on sites across the Web.

Let Google pay for bandwidth! :)
If I’m wrong on this Jim, let me know.

Thanks again.

Derek

Tricia :

Hi Jim,

Glad you didn’t charge me for this one. Turns out I would get about 5 seconds and it would have to continue to load. I did this 10 times and gave up as I hadn’t even reached you yet. These may be great for fast connections, but where I live, there ain’t no such animal. It’s dial-up or forget the whole thing.

Looks like it might be wonderful - but for the time being, I’ll never know.

Maybe you can tell me how there are a very few people who get videos that go through on my PC without all the hassle? It’s not often, but it sure is nice when that happens!

Law :

Hi, Jim really enjoy your letter always,

But you cant view Google video from Germany. It say’s our sevices are not athorized to work in your country.
I didnt know that either,
Thanks,Law
Germany

FROM JIM:

Law, I did not know that… and that is good to know (sorry you couldn’t see it)… I wonder why they do that?

I’ll keep researching… thanks for letting me know.

Jim

Hi Jim,
You deliver as always! Only 2 technical comments - I had an “audio dropout” near the beginning when you said “presentation” and I think it’s a typo near the bottom of the right side of the page where it says: “This audio buttong “FORMULA”…

The video was pretty good resolution for the large size. The part from the Big Seminar was great and professional looking but in your intro to it, your face looks a bit distorted and it looks like you’re reading a teleprompter…All the content was super though. I’d love to do this for my website if only you would have a course for folks working on the Mac!

I’m on broadband and had a tough time streaming the video with Safari on a Mac. So I tried to download it but the downloaded file’s video and audio didn’t sync and it was choppy. I’m a techie and don’t usually have computer problems so I don’t think it was user fault but perhaps it was operating system inconsistencies.

Eddie :

Quite helpful, Jim. Thanks for the generosity!

Great video, Jim!

I never took so many notes from a teleclass, or webinar! Well presented, the formula templated for simplicity!

Thanks for the generous gift! I’ll be using this immediately!

Gail :

Thank you Jim!

Throughly enjoyed the video presentation, learn’t heaps, had a great laugh, and you inspire me to have a go!

Wayne :

Hey Jim,
Thanks for sharing that presentation. Timely,
concise, informative as anything and detailed enough for the newest people. Any idea if and when that Armand Morin seminar will be released as a product? I’ve seen two presentations from it and both were dynamite.
Thanks again,
Wayne Watt

Jim

You showed the power of the media by taking a piece of Big Seminar video and making a whole new presentation with it.

Excellent.

BTW - When are you going to have an affiliate program for your video products?

Steve
www.21biz.com

Great video and excellent content. Great timing, too. I had just sent my newsletter out with a lead article about the potential growth of video as a promotional tool this year (and linked to your recent article about what Google Video means for marketers). Almost immediately, I got your invitation to see your latest experiment there.

It’s an excellent example of what can be done and how to do it!

Yves Desrosiers :

Thanks Jim!!!! Great format.Very informative. Has given me great ideas for a few things I am planning. Again, thank you.

Hi there Jim,

I couldn’t watch the video either but it can’t be a slow connection problem. I have a whapping 10MB broadband connection. I’m Really, really, really desperate to see this though so i’ll have to try my husbands PC, failing that the laptop, failing that laptop No.2 and failing that go to my brothers - I WILL SEE THIS VIDEO :)
Your stuff is ALWAYS top quality!

Hi Jim
Thanks for the videos. Brilliant concept which
had to come online. The videos containing Google
screenshots were blurred. Was that because they were just for demo?
Are these videos for istalling and using video
capture and the tutorials already for sale?
Thanks a lot.
Jeff

Hey Jim,

Excellent! Excellent! Excellent!

I’ve been podcasting, but have been slow to put audio on my website. No more excuses!

Many thanks,

Barbara

George :

Jim,
I bought your 7 day e-mail book, because I have already written 2 e-books. One on Kennel Management, … (I was a Police K-9 offiver for 18 years) and one on Disaster Management and Hurricane Survival. (covering Andrew thru Katrina, things you will NEVER read in the media or other books. Some of which might make Howard Stern blush)
The info here in your video looks good. The info offered (course) on website creation looks good too, altho is out of my budget right now. Maybe later when finances improve.
Anyway, the video impressed me. Hope we can work together in the future

angel :

Jim greta info thans for asking us for feedback .
I use a pc hi speed connection viewed it though
choppy .

perhaps on a Mac? can mac users order the home study course?

Norman :

Hello Jim ,

I have been “gathering together” the necessary components to put audio on my sites so your video was a huge benefit for me — sincere thanks. I also decided that actions speak louder than words so I made use of the PayPal button to make a small contribution.

Keep well Jim ,

Sincerely ,

Norman

Great video, Jim. You just helped to bring up the conversion rate of thousands of your reader’s sites. I know it helped me big time.

Ken

Hi Jim,

That really was worth staying up until 3:00am (UK time) trying to get the video to stream. Laptop saved the day and video was awesome!!

You have saved me DAYS of work. I have no excuse for putting off recording audio for my sites now…

Trish

Heather :

Hey Jim,

Excellent video! I’m just starting to get into audio and love it. Now I actually know how to make it successful!

Thanks for giving this away for free…you saved me so much time and effort!

Heather

Thank you Jim, the video was great and the information easy enough even for a newbie like me. And seeing everyone at the seminar taking in every word made me REALLY want to attend one.

Pam :

Hi Jim,

I found the video helpful and informative and I will use the script you gave for a product on my landscaping site.

Thanks,

Hi Jim,

As always your videos are fun, productive and informative.

Hi Jim,

I always enjoyed your videos. Unfortunately now you’re hosting your videos with Google. Did you know that the playback feature is turned off in many countries? Even here in Germany where I reside. I am unable to watch it. That’s too bad as I am a buyer of your products and now your’re closing the door right before my face…

Fabian

Joe :

Before I watched it I thought - “Yeah, sure you could sell it Jim”. Then I watched it.

All I can say is Thanks for this free video!! You COULD sell this!

Keep up the good work.

eileen :

Jim,

for europe it’s not yet such a good idea. A pity not to be able to get your great material, although it saves you bandwidth. In Germany we get:

Thanks for your interest in Google Video.

Currently, the playback feature of Google Video isn’t available in your country.

We hope to make this feature available more widely in the future, and we really appreciate your patience.

Juli Cooley :

Hi Jim:

Juli the newbie here again (no site set up yet). Thanks for the video seminar. My number two project (as soon as i know what I’m doing) will make extensive use of a/v as product as well as marketing tool. This format was clear & easy to manipulate. Couldn’t find any negatives. (Except that red really isn’t your color - sorry :)
Thanks and good luck with your endeavors!

Nancy :

I had problems with the video. I also typically have problems with the video from ‘fromthedeskof…’. What happens is that I hear a word, then a pause, then a word, then a pause, until I get tired of it and close it. I have cable and live overseas. But I do watch internet tv and CNN type videos with no problems whatsoever. So I don’t know what is going on other than perhaps a bandwidth issue from your site although at 2am CST, I find that hard to believe.

I can just echo all of the positive comments.

Your video was very well put together. This was an excellent presentation and extremely helpful.

I have used some audio on my website. I wish I had known about your step by step method, but you can bet I will use it in the future.

I gotta tell you: thanks, Jim. Keep up your great work.

Thank you, Jim, for the step-by-step formula of “how to make a sales presentation.” Even without video that will help many people … including myself of course. Hi Jim:

Nice video. Ran smooth through my NVidea card and T3 connection but I wonder if my potential customers could pick it up using their dial-up.

Any way to download it as a high-res file for play-back later?

Got to say though - I already wanted to put together an Ebook, using 2nd party audio/video, just like this one.

Thanks; Larry

Hi Jim,

Wowowowowwwww! As usual… another great video of yourself at the Big Seminar. :)
Next time you come to down-under, please let me know and I buy you a nice cold beer (or coke if you prefer).

The last time you had been here and in the bush with Father David Smith, I was still lining in Germany… now I am here and will keep your can of beer nice and cold in my fridge until you can to visit again (… don’t worry, if it takes too long I will buy a fresh one before we meet). :)

Thanks for making the video available Jim. I made plenty of notes and always enjoy listening to the way you break things down and explain them in a manner that’s easy to follow.

Hi, Jim, The video did not download properly it stalled twice and I went back and tried again and the same thing happend So I would have to say that the preview was not a success.

P.S. And I have a fast broadband speed as well so it was not that

Yours Alan.

Jim,

I just bought all the tools necessary to build an audio website, and now you have given me the ideas necessary to go forward with the presentation on my site.

Really appreciate you making this available to me, after this audio project my next dragon to sleigh is video, I will stay tuned…….. I promise.

John :

Hi Jim,

Your videos are always good, but in viewing it on google, it was dark and pixelated. Not very clear.

Good video for the information presented as always.

Thanks,

John

Well Jim - as always a great presentation.
I have been using audio and recently video on my websites for a while now. This presentation has given me some new ideas for some of my niche sites.

Thanks

Jacqueline :

HI Jim,
Your presentation was wonderful! You most definitely established rapport! You represented yourself as the guy that everyone wants to be friends with and who knows his stuff!
You’re wonderful! I learned a lot. Thank you so much for sharing your presentation and knowledge with me.
Have a great day!

Byron welch :

Better than Saturday morning cartoons, Not quite
Jim but very interesting information all the same 9/10. The shirt? No comment.

Under a minute would keep every body’s attention especially if it becomes just that little more creative in it’s presentation; the right voice, ambiance and…..intention.

Close your eye’s and listen to you favorite film
clip, it’s mood, ambient sound and music track and you’ll hear exactly what I mean.

It can sell like the movement of a womans body
or a lingering look.

Hi Jim,

That was a fantastic video - thanks for sharing that with us because you certainly could have charged for that kind of specific knowledge.

I read your message the other day about VideoGoogle and thought it was great. Then watching this today it all came together how we can use VideoGoogle for our new site and products.

I always appreciate your generosity and down home style!

Best,

Paul

Steve :

I like it and learned quite a bit. It was concise, practical, useful, and enjoyed the casual or light attitude you had. The video made me feel I was right there at the seminar.

Kevin Halloran :

Hi Jim,
As a purchaser and user of your 7DayEbook, MiniSiteCreator, and your most recent collaboration with Mike Stewart- Website Video Secrets courses I cannot begin to adequately endorse your offerings in the manner they deserve!
The video played well, no hiccups, paused and resumed ok, but did appear a little dark at first.
However, the message was clear, presentation easily read and I did take a page of notes.
This video offering for your Formula, though intended for the audio additions, can easily be used as well for a video introduction on their websites for those of your followers that make the wise decision to purchase your easy to understand, step by step instructional videos that Really Do Teach How to do it. Having begun following the late Corey Rudl in 1999, I can advise you that your two courses this past year, Mini Site Creator and Website Video Secrets, along with your videos & ezine articles, have really “filled in the blanks” and allowed me “to take action” - successfully on the internet. I now understand vast amounts of what before seemed like pieces of the jigsaw puzzle, but scrambled up, or like seeing vast forests instead of a tree.
You gave me the instructions on how to assemble that “puzzle,” by myself, no less, and I will not be able to Thank You enough. You are the Real Deal, Jim! I hope your inspirations and the resulting rewards for helping so many others continue for a long, long time.
With Sincerest Appreciation,
Kevin

Shaun :

Hey Jim,

Your audio button video was excellent. I use them on half a dozen of my sites and I agree with every point you made in your presentation. Nice work.

Duke :

Jim,
As usual, a great way to get the message out. Hope it works for me…

Hi Jim,
Love your shirt!

Great video, wish I could write as fast to keep notes, replayed several times. Thanks.

Going to add it to my site.

Also enjoyed your Christmas Display Video. They must have been really huge!

Philip A. Whary :

Very good video but it ended to soon. I want to see the rest..

Michelle Williams :

Hi, Jim,

Like other products I have purchased from you, this is really on the money!! I wrote notes on both the front and back sides of a sheet of one of those 7″X`5″ pages…….filled both sides!

Man, this is awesome, enough meat for me to use in my upcoming info project! Thanks for your generosity!

Michelle Williams

Great Video Jim, lots of useful information. I’m looking forward to applying what I’ve learned to my website. My biggest challenge is taking my site from just an information site to being a real profitable site, but that’s my goal for 2006. I’m trained in digital art and videography so there really is no reason why I shouldn’t find a way to profit with video this year.

Andrew :

Great stuff. I love the way you laid it out so simply. I appreciate the step by step action plan. I’ve been thinking about adding an audio button to my site, but didn’t know where to start. Now, I have everything I need. The only question I had was, in your opinion, is it better to have the audio automatically start when a visitor comes to your site or for the visitor to have to click on the play button to start it?

Justin :

This is a fantastic video. It is tips like these that help me keep chipping away to being an internet millionaire. I am truly impressed.

Hey Jim,

I really appreciate you putting such concise, valuable informatio out without charging us!

The info was very timely, as I just posted my first audio message last week. You can be sure that I will yank that audio and revise it to use the formula you presented.

Thanks again, Jim. Best wishes in all your endeavors.

OUTSTANDING!!!!!!

Nelson :

Good video. Covered the basics of how to structure a sales letter. This would be helpful for those struggling with copywriting.

Rodica :

Jim,
I like your presentation.Simple, straight, efficient. Just keep going on, I’ll keep watching on.
Thanks.

Rich :

Well done! As always, keep it up. By the way, when are you going to re-release Web Site Video Secrets? I made the mistake of waiting for my company and missed it the first time.

Jim,

This came at a perfect time, as I had just finished recording my audio for my sales page and product launch due out later this week.

I was pleasantly surprised that I had almost included everything that you mentioned in the video. Might have to touch up a few lines. I’ll test it once it’s launched.

I’m excited to see how incorporating some of your great ideas will help my product sales.

Jay :

Very well thought out game plan, but I do have a comment (query?): In conclusion, one urges the visitor to take action immediately (click to buy, in my case). So your audio actually replaces your sales letter, because few people will actually read it after listening to your whole spiel. Bearing that in mind, shouldn’t one expand the time one presents the audio to maybe 5 minutes to close the sale?

January 18, 2006

Paul Cronin :

Hi Jim,

Great Video. I am now definitely going to test out an audio button on my site. I have the audio recorded but I am looking for the controller code. Any suggestions?

Thanks for all your help so far.

Neil Wolfe :

I just finished watching your video presentation at Arman’s seminar. You did a terrific job — clear, concise and to the point. I like meat and potatoes without the fluff. When it was finished
playing I wanted to download it to my hard drive but I guess my paranoia about Google surfaced. I am hesitant to give Google any personal information despite reviewing their privacy policy because they seem to want to conquer the world and don’t really care who they step on in the process. Am I being overly cautious or do I just suffer from an acute case of “Googlephobia”? Anyway, I signed up to get the early bird notice on your home video course and I hope this video is in the package so I can use the information and bypass Google at the same time. Again, great job. Thanks for the heads up.
