Thanks for your perspective on this. What a huge opportunity this is for all of us. I’ve heard the term “sliver casting” applied to video niche marketing, being the opposite of “broad casting,” the term applied to television as we have known it over the decades. The sliver cast markets are still available uncontested, unlike the broadcast markets. so all those budding video producers and stars out there need to get to work!

As always giving us the best information!

I don’t care what everybody has said about the latest technology. This is going to change the way we really view T.V. The rests are adaptations and work arrounds. This is a true alternative solution.

And if anyone does have invitation credits! please send one my way!

Your statements regarding Joost are right on the money, as usual!

I have seen Joost first-hand, and all I can say is WOW!! That thing performs
like a DVD player, even though it’s only on a closed limited “beta” network
right now. Once it becomes publicly available, it will perform even better than
it currently does, because the more users, the better it gets.

I’ve gotta believe that the guys at Google must be wondering if they did the
right thing in acquiring YouTube, given the coming of Joost to the scene, as well
as the mass exodus of the big media providers from YouTube who are all signing
deals with Joost!
