This video really hit the nail on the head. Being “transparent” through video and offering “perceived value” with real content is what you do. I must admit that your silly personality has been one of the factors that has kept me coming back over time. I can’t think of one other “guru” that is as “entertaining” as you!

Yeah, I got to take responsibility for my weight.
I started writing down the calories, and it is amazing
how I convinced myself I was not eating that much, and it was 3000-4000 a day.. Geez!

The shows are just a stream of consciousness, so it was on my mind and that is how they will be in the future.
But the lesson is, every success is mental. Business or health, you must not kid yourself to believing the wrong decisions are the right ones. Our brains will justify anything. But you can change your mindset in anything. A message of our first show.. Stay tuned, they will get better and fun to be with Jim!

Hi Guys,

Very cool, must say I liked Mikes point about using new technology to get in social contact and nice to see both you guys really pushing people like myself and the other commenters to “Solve Problems” instead of just selling something just for the sake of it.

After listening to this video I know the product I am building will definately solve problems and will have immediate and easy to “USE VALUE’

So since watching the 30 DAY VC I have:

1. Taken an idea and run with it
2. I have built a process for the customer to use the product.
3. I have learnt how to use Camtasia 6 from scratch myself in 24 hours (Even if I am not up to Mikes standards)
4. Today I am doing some test videos to make sure the training videos will be of high quality.
5 Tomorrow I start my 3 day recording editing and tweaking session to develop a finished product.

And you know what, I know i am going to be successful because I am building a product that I would buy myself.

You guys are still setting the bar when it comes to video (multimedia) online.

I’d really like to know what equipment you are using and how you were able to do the live presentation because it’s something I’m researching and developing for 2010.

People buy because it takes time and experience to develop the criteria to identify what it is that one truly needs to learn for one’s business and also because it takes time, experience AND practice to be able to get a skin thick enough to not to be taken by all those snake oil sales letters.

Hey Jim,

A point that you and Mike made in your show today that really resonated with me was when Mike was talking about how some marketers use trickery to get hurting people to spend money on that marketer’s “product”, I was reminded of an email I just received earlier today that earned that marketer my prompt unsubscription from his list.

I had been keeping up with this particular marketer for 3 years who sent me an offer today via a “Personal Letter to ‘me’” taking advantage of the current guru’s trend towards their building your business for you (which I think takes passion away from your business).

This person wanted almost $8000 to build your business for you. No income disclaimers, no money back guarantees, nothing. NO real sales letter, either.

I was offended. I will never do anything like this with my customers when I get some.

I was just so mad that this guy was perpetuating this scam to people.
