Hi Jim,I would be interested in the double opt-in solution which you referred to from above. One of the fundamental aspects for success as an affiliate is the ability to make the product Your own…so to speak.
If there is a double opt-in dilemma that seems to me would have an effect on one’s credibility.

Chris Steiner :
Jim,
I just finished watching the ABCD formula video, and I have to say it was fantastic. Like the other comments above, I am interested in a video showing a way to get around the opt-in page to opt-in page issue.
But more than that, in your video you talked a bit about testing, and mentioned the possibility of doing a video about testing as well. I have to say this is one of my truly weak areas, and I would be very interested in a video on this topic.
Thank you,
Chris
Anna :
I’m new to this; how do you test which sign-up box they’ve used with a double box opt in on the same page?
Getting round the double opt-in information would be great as well.
Thanks for two great videos

If you don’t have enough votes for the double opt-in…add my name to the list.
I am sure you will cover it, but I want to know how to track the different opt-in blocks on the same mini-site.
Thanks for the great info!
David Robertson :
Great video Jim I learned alot! Thanks again.
In reply to Anna above, the autoresponder I use (Getresponse)has a box in the optin code with an id number that you can change for different locations of the optin box. So code number 001 could be top page and 002 could be bottom page. You just keep track of which code you assigned top and bottom and the autoresponder keeps track of who signed in where.
Sally :
Jim, as always you are so generous with sharing your skills. Thank you so much.
I love the videos and hope you will do the one about double opt-in’s.

Hi Jim,
Thank you for another informative video…. keep them coming.
Also interested in finding out how to avoid these double opt ins as well as the suggestion that Anna made…
“How do you test which sign-up box they’ve used with a double box opt in on the same page?”
Nate :
Hey Jim!
I know I already posted, but I wanted to say thank you for the html template.
I had my opt-in page just about done, and that template really helped me to finish it!
If you’d like to check it out just click on my name. I’m not asking for sign-ups, just thought people would like to see how I’ve integrated it in my site.
Thanks again!
Nate “The Mad Marketer” Lawson
Marie :
Thanks for a great video. I hope you keep it up for a while so I can refer to it as I put up my page….and yes, like so many others above me I too would like to see how to avoid the additional optin. I understand that the one actually providing the product deserves the info but how can they get it without their own squeeze page? An optin email for the download?
Trevor :
Hello Jim,
As a Newbie, I really appreciate both your generosity and the clarity in which you convey your ideas and advice.

May you receive 10 X what you consistantly give out

Hi Jim,
Great stuff.
Count me in on the double opt-in avvoidance video request.
Thanks for this video. It’s something I’ve known I should do since reading the first ebook I bought from you about 3 years ago, but have only just started to actually do in the last 1/2 year. I’m already seeing the payoff — just kicking why I waited so long.
Amber :

Will there be an “upgrade” capability for those who already own Mini-Site Creator?
-David
ralph :
Yes loved to see how elimente the double optin required problem
MySpace Proxy :
If only everyone explained list building as well and detailed as you!
Always anxious to get the next email from you.
BTW, ANNA from above, you use a tracking code that you assign to the seperate boxes. Top, bottom, #1, #2, etc. They will still add people to the same list but you will see which box they clicked the most. Your autoresponder company will allow tracking codes for sign-up boxes. If they don’t allow it, get a different autoresponder system!!
Brian Ankner (non-guru)
Walter Reibeling :
Excellently explained Jim - Thanks.
Please do explain how you get around the double opt-in when using affiliate links.
Cheers,

Louie :
Hi Jim,
I own your mini-site creator product. The very same day I received it, I put up my 1st site. I’m a newbie and had never built one before. I’ve tweaked it couple of times since then. About a week later I put up my second site. Again, in a bout an afternoon.
I must tell you, your tech support guys kick ass. Gotta problem? Give it to them and bye-bye problem.
About the ABCD template…it would be HIGHLY recommended that you tell everyone that they DO NOT receive the audio code for the insertion of audio…
Other than that, I was really excited about making mini sites for all my affiliate products…until I learned Google will slap you good and hard if they smell an afffiliate link tied to a google adwords campaign. THAT’S why I create an opt in page, give them some free stuff over the course of about a week all the while increasing my value to them. THEN, I touch a problem which they already have then introduce the solution to the solution. (My affiliate product that I don’t even own.)
I THEN send them through a link to my affiliate page where, viola, they become a customer ro at least are now aware of the product to solve their problems. If they buy at a later time, I still receive the commission.
That’s how I’ve avoided the “double opt-in” righ off the bat syndrome…I learned to be patient and give away some free, valuable stuff to build their trust and lead them to become buyers whose contact information I now have…which will become my retirement.
BUT, I’d also love to learn another method to compliment my education.
Thanks.
Louie in Las Vegas

Bart :
Please, please Jim…don’t leave us hanging. We need to know how to circumvent the old duplicate opt in with using affiliate promotion strategies. Does that make sense? I hope so. THanks.
Bob Storrs :
Hey Jim! You must have been reading my mind cause ever since I created my site last week I’ve been racking my
brain on how to get around the double opt-in. I’m eager
to hear the solution.
Also, since an opt-in page may be lacking in a lot of content how would you set up Google Adwords so you’re
not paying through the nose for clicks?
And is there a break on Mini Site Creator II for purchasers of Mini Site I?
Merlene Ward-Nelson :
I’m also interested in knowing how to get around the double opt-in when sending my potential customers to an affiliate website. Please do a video on it.
I would also like to know if there’s a break on Mini Site Creator II for purchasers of Mini Site I?

Hi, Jim!

Thanks again for the GREAT STUFF!
Jean Solomon :
Hi, Jim –
Your first Mini-Site Course brought me a l-o-n-g way. Now, the promise of 4 minutes seems mind-boggling, but very welcome. I’m glad that you’ve worked out a solution to the double opt-in dilemma. I’m curious about that too.

Jim, great content as always.
I have to admit to not even being a newbie just yet, but I hope to be one someday! so please excuse what is probably a stupid question, but here goes….
On the a-b-c-d template, what directs the prospect to me. should I enter an email address somewhere in the code, and if so where?
Once I have this part mastered, I would love to know the double opt in answer.
Please keep it coming.
Many thanks
Chris
Ed :
Hi, Jim,
I’ve never created a website but sure need one now, in order to sell a book I recently completed. Is yours the most user-friendly website around, not just to set up but to change copy and graphics in months ahead? Also, where do I get a couple of good auto-responders to acknowledge book purchases and how do I find and upload video and audio on to the mini-website, once buy your software?
Sorry to sound ignorant but I’m just starting out.
Ed
Ed :
One more question: You have a great blog. How do I start one and is it important to link to my mini-website once it’s in place?
Thanks again!
Ed

Would love to hear about defeating a possible “double optin”..I would think having an agreement ahead of time before becoming an affiliate…or to offer to share the list with the other site…but maybe there is a better way…
I think you are very direct and positive. I am impressed. I am one of those with ideas, but floundering…maybe just scared about getting really into it. This quick page idea is probably the answer….You have opened my mind…thanks
