Hi Jim,

I’m really enjoying this series. It’s also been great for getting in the swing of doing a particular task every day! In this case, it’s watching your videos. :-)

BTY… what kind of hand-held mic are you using? USB…yes? and the model?

thanks again! Cheryl

January 19, 2010

Thanks, Jim. Would love to see you show how-to information on Google image ads in TNR sometime.

Glen,

We are moving in that direction, yes… not 100% sure of timeframe, though.

Cheryl,

I got it from Mike Stewart… it is actually not a usb, it plugs directly into my Zi8… I got it from Mike Stewart. It’s got a 1/8″ plug on it (I believe)… email through the PMM group and I’ll give you more details.

Michael in the UK

I sent Santa Clause an email with a link to my salespage and he said he would leave a copy of it under every Christmas tree at every house he visited on Christmas eve…LIAR!!!
I didn’t get one sale!
So i won’t be using him again and do NOT recommend.
While i was watching your latest video in the hot-tub, i saw Elvis out there in the background!

Thanks for the videos and information Jim.
Can you tell i’m in a funny mood???????

January 19, 2010

LOL – you’re certainly in the zone today Michael ;)

January 19, 2010

Nice video. I got a couple of ideas from it.

January 19, 2010

Awesome!!

January 19, 2010

Great Ideas Jim! I really appreciate
your helpfulness and spirit of giving.
I too would like info on the microphone you
used. I don’t have the Zi8 yet but you now
gave me a reason to get one.

Great Series Jim. I’m glad that someone else realizes that google is not the only search engine being used for traffic. Msn and Yahoo still get a big part of the daily searches and you would be crazy to pass that up.

Thanks for the fantastic information and I look forward to more!

January 19, 2010

Jim,

I really love your ideas. You’re one of the few guys I trust to give me valuable info that’s the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth!

Thanks Man!

Hi Jim;

Did you shoot this video with the Kodak HD Zi8?

Thanks

Alex

January 19, 2010

Thanks Jim,

I also like to do some article marketing, guest blog posting, and blog commenting to drive some traffic.

It’s freeee. And if you do it regularly, you can really get some traffic.

Great series Jim.

Smacker’s still the man, er..I mean The Dawg!

I have the Zi6 and was already going to upgrade to the Zi8 for the external mic port before I saw these.

Can you tell us what settings you’re using for these?

Mr. Quack-Pot is anything but!. Google affiliate, content network, image ads – I am SUCH a newbie when it comes to advertising on google. I’ve listened to Greg’s TNR course, but I think I need a refresher and update – can’t wait for PMM stuff. I’m not a ‘wuss’ in general but I have this mental block when it comes to google stuff – it’s just intimidating to me. So, I doubt I am the only one. I think blog advertising would be great for me but not a clue how to start. Can’t wait for more info!

I’m excited! I made an animated banner ad for my ImageAds and I’m writing an article a day. Whew! This is WORK. I may not make as much money as I’d like at first, but I have a lot of confidence about the future.

Jim,

Great video! I was glad to see you mention that Google isn’t the only game in town. Since MSN changed to Bing (and apparantly their algo) I have been getting some steady traffic from them where I wasn’t before.

Thanks for reminding us about other sources of traffic. I’m in a spot where I need to get some eyeballs to my new site cheaply so I can start some testing and this video helps!

Thanks!

Carmenl

Jim, you are always sooo cool!

And Cheryl, thanks for the clarification, when I first saw Jim’s picture on the video I thought he was shaving and I was going to ask him what kind of shaver he was using! Hahaha

January 20, 2010

LOL!

January 20, 2010

Stone,

Remember that all traffic is cheap if you make more money from it than you spend to get it…

Jim

January 20, 2010

That’s exactly what you need right now… the money will come once you’re fully engaged in the process.

January 20, 2010

Hi Suzanne,

The course with Greg will get recorded tomorrow and I’ll have it available for TNR PMM asap

Also, we can do a course on Blog Advertising… it’s actually really simple once you understand the principles.

Jim

January 20, 2010

All in good time… we’re still experimenting… I’d hate to give out information and then have people say I’m changing or “That’s not what you said before!”

January 20, 2010

Debbie,

As you probably know, I’m a HUGE fan of Article Marketing…. so go for it!

Jim

January 20, 2010

Yes, I did… and I got it from Mike Stewart :D

January 20, 2010

Thank you, Chuck :)

January 20, 2010

You’re welcome… thank *you*!

January 20, 2010

Randy,

The best thing you can do is just start taking action… and it sounds like you’re going to do just that!

The Zi8 rocks!

Jim

January 20, 2010

It’s good to be remimded of the other sources, but 2/3 of the market is tough to argue against. Would be great if there was anyway of finding out what the target market responded to best. In our case B2B video production, I fear that Google is king!

January 20, 2010

I am glad someone is out there telling people the truth about Google. You can get tons of traffic from article marketing and the other search engines but everyone seems to be stuck on the Google God. Thanks Jim. Keep making a difference in the internet marketing world.

January 20, 2010

Lovin’ the videos Jim. Great information.

Thanks so much.

January 20, 2010

Great tips! Thanks for these powerful information.

January 21, 2010

Choice information and video. Jim thanks for the tips. How much you paying crackpot for special appearances. ha ha.

January 21, 2010

Always great content Jim. You’ve inspired me to step up my own game with video…and I’m really loving it! Just got the Zi8 as well. Can’t resist easy-to-use, effective technology!

Steve

Hey Jim thanks for the tips. I have a tip for you don’t sit it a hot tub with a live mic. LOL Isn’t it cold sitting there with the windows open? Didn’t recognize you without your glasses.

January 21, 2010

Hey Jim.

Another ‘rockin’ video – great info thank you.

Btw… steam is not too good on microphones.

I may not be successful yet getting high-traffic volumes, but I am a musician – : )

– and even Quackpot may agree –

Never smoke, steam or blow on your microphones.

I know, I know… you’ll just throw it away and buy more expensive ones each time

Hope I can do that one day : |

‘Uh-hem’ … I mean, I ‘expect’ to do that one day ; )
