Nice info Jim,

I jumped straight to the WishListMember plugin for my first membership site and just offer content for free until I build a respectable amount of content and members. I tie it in with my Aweber account. I might use Clickbank rather than Paypal when I do start charging.

They, Wishlist Member, also have an e-mail ‘broadcast’ option to all members (not an autoresponder service as you mention with Amember)although I’m having issues with it ( which may be hosting related).

As you say, 2+ years ago I wouldn’t have believed you if you’d said I could have a membership site for $110 down and around $30 a month :-)

Thank you Jim.
It is very good information. All three methods are very simple and literally anybody can do them. So, it all comes back to the main pains what every internet marketer has, which is: – if you know how to drive targeted traffic to your page,
- if you know how to pre-sell with your squeeze page, and
- if you are able to learn more enough to create good, valuable content for your members each month or week,
then you can easily rock’N'roll the internet business.

Ivo

Hi Jim
Greetings from the UK. Another great video. Thanks for demystifying some of the mechanics and resources needed to run a successful membership site. Can’t wait for the next post.

Gavin

Great info as usual Jim. I use the Wishlist Membership Plugin and have been very pleased with me. The hardest part for me is generating traffic.

Hey Jim,
how’s it going…just saw this vid and what I like about it is that you explain things in a simple way which make it easy to digest and absorb for anybody who wanted to learn how to make a membership site.

Content is King and I feel besides the mechanics and the costs of putting together and running a membership site, that keeping members subscribed and attracting new members rests on providing innovative and unique content that is prsented in a refreshing way.

There are so many fun and effective mediums to present new information, so knowing which medium and how to use it are also key.

I will be looking forward to more videos in this series,
thanks Jim,
Temogen

Thanks Jim!

Once again, you’ve raised the bar by giving SOLID, ACTIONABLE CONTENT that anyone can understand and follow. These examples actually give options that ANYONE can benefit from.

I recently purchased “Wishlist Member” and I’ll be setting it up, this week. I’m really looking forward to all of the unlimited possibilities that exist by creating a Membership site.

I’ll let you know how it turns out:-)

Thanks again.

Jim, Jim, Jim, you did it again… I wish everyone could make it as simple as you do. Thanks and I look forward to hearing more from you.

Well, it can’t get any simpler than that! So easy, even a caveman can to it. Still, like you said, Jim, it takes marketing to get the members and resources/creativity to keep the members.

Well done video, as usual!
