Congratulations Debbie! Sounds like there may be a story behind that name, LOL.

ahhh memories of warmer climes and the Jim Boat. What’s interesting is that the points Armand, Phil and Tony all made – you’ve already taught us in TNR and TLSL.

Great name for the duck!

I’m with Suzanne…longing for the island climate right about now…sage advice from those who have gone before us as well. Thanks for the reminders.

That is a bad #ss name and some bad %ss advice on what it takes to succeed. Thanks for the video Jim.

Some excellent advise there. I especially liked what Armand had to say.

Michael in the UK

Armand Morin hit my problem right on the head when he talked about the gap, length of time between having an idea and taking action about! The longer you think and just talk about it, the less chance it has of ever happening. Eban Pagan talks about successful people having the knack to implement, straight away, any new idea/information that comes their way. Taking action, getting that feedback and moving forwards continuously. The difference between winners and…?

great advice once again jim boy and guyz

George White

I’m really starting to love that dog. Great info jim.

January 15, 2010

LOVE the name! Good advice from all 3 guys, take action, have your mindset in place and research so you can find an untapped niche within a bigger niche

January 15, 2010

Hey Jim,

Yep I thought Armands piece was simple and very to the point.

Thanks for that

Richard

Congratulations, Debbie for coming up with the name Quack-pot.
Great video and advise Jim. Smacker is the best!

January 15, 2010

Hi Guys,

We had multiple submissions of multiple names… so we had to go back and pick the first person to submit the name… thanks to EVERYONE who submitted a name… it took us QUITE a while to decide.

You’re all a great, creative bunch!

Jim

PS – we’ll have another contest in a week or so :D

January 15, 2010

Thanks!

January 15, 2010

No kiddin’! Man, I wish we were back there right now… sigh :(

January 15, 2010

Great video, Jim! Love the name, Quack-pot, it’s perfect for the duck.

Although all 3 guys had valuable advice, Tony’s advice hit home for me. That’s exactly what I’ve been doing, yet hadn’t thought to create a product. Many online marketers show you how to implement their product or system, yet don’t help you to get it done.

That’s why our coaching program is so unique: we include a few hours of Virtual Assistant (VA) work each month to allow the business owner to focus on their expertise rather than on the marketing and implementation details. For example, for one client just last week we’re using the VA time to set up a Facebook fan page for her business. Previously we’ve used it to build a specific list of partners. Each business is different, so each marketing is different. The business owner loves it because they don’t need to try to figure out one more thing, and it allows them to focus on working with clients and obtaining more clients — their brilliance work.

Simple but effective does the trick more often than not… but you’re already in the middle of it lady! You’re fully engaged and on your way!

Jim

January 15, 2010

Thank YOU

January 15, 2010

Me too… he cuts to the point every time!

January 15, 2010

It’s the difference between current winners and future winners… it’s never too late to get your ideas into action. “Do it now!” has been my mantra for a long time :-)

Jim

January 15, 2010

LOL – glad you like him :D

January 15, 2010

You quack me up, Jim Edwards! Love the success tips. Is Armand single?

January 15, 2010

It doesn’t have to be complicated… we just have to DO it!

January 15, 2010

Thanks :-)

I appreciate that very much!

January 15, 2010

Hi Kelly,

No, Armand is very definitely married ;)

Jim

January 15, 2010

Phil Gosling really his the nail on the head. Most people go through life doing what they are expected to do and don’t even know what their dreams are. Decide what you want out of life and then take action on a daily basis (no matter how small)and you will have a life filled with joy and success.

January 15, 2010

YOU GOT IT!

That’s what all successful people do at least once in their lives (whether they realize it or not).

January 15, 2010

Hey Jim,

Do you do the voice for Smacker???

Richard

January 15, 2010

I’ll never tell on that… Smacker does his own voice ;-)

Kevin

“Quack-Pot!” … “Quack-Pot!!” You wanna talk about “Quack-Pot!
You’ve gotta be kidding me here… right?” “Quack-Pot!”

Love it, but I have to admit that I’m slightly, ok maybe more than slightly… shall we say, concerned, that there is Way More
(key Mike Stewart’s music) to this seemingly benign, little floatin’ yellow rubber ducky — now named “Quack-Pot” !

Maybe that ole Dawg Smacker is on to something… that smells a little “fishy”… I mean Jim did kiss a shark after all…

But, then again, it could just be me.. I dunno, seems weird!

January 15, 2010

Jim,

I am enjoying the creativity of your 30 day challenge, but are you going to spill the beans on some of the technical things? Like… what software do you use to get the puppet’s voice? Are you using green screen? How do I learn to do it? etc.

January 15, 2010

A duck with no name
Leaves a duck feelin’ lame
The dog’s no slacker
Got himself named Smacker
We gave it our best shot
Now the duck’s called Quack-Pot
Sabina Philpsz – well done!

January 16, 2010

Hilarious and educational as usual. Thank for SHOWING us exactly how to do it (again)…

January 16, 2010

We will talk about some tools, of course. As far as Smacker is concerned, I’m never going to reveal that one :-)
