Can you *really* make money online in 24 hours?…
It’s an age-old question… or at least as old as the Internet.
“Is there *really* a way to make money online in 24 hours or less?”
The answer? YES!
It is very possible to make money online within 24 hours… in fact, people do it frequently.
But the specific markets they target… and the exact methods, keywords, products and other strategies they use to do it will hardly ever be discussed in anything more than vague generalities… because people who REALLY do it rarely EVER talk about it.
But more on that in a minute…
Back to the question at hand.
Most people may think they are asking the question: “Is there a way to make money online in 24 hours starting from scratch?”
However, that question is not REALLY what people want the answer to!
Here is the questions most people are *really* asking when they ask the “24 hour money” question:
Question: “Can you make money online within 24 hours without investing any time, any money, any thought, or any effort… and can I do it once, quit my job, and be rich for life?”
Answer: NO
Actually the answer is “!@#$% NO Stupid!… go to 7-11 right now and buy a lottery ticket… you’ll get better odds with the lottery!”
Now, on the surface, you might say, “What a stupid question. Everyone knows you can’t do that!”
Do they?
Do they really know that?
I don’t think so… because if they did, people wouldn’t fall for the “get rich quick” scams and BS that gets perpetrated on them every day online.
Perfect example: posting ads on FFA pages or joining “Safe” lists.
What a crock!… yet people still make money pushing this concept because people want to make money without doing any due-diligence, investing any time, or investing any money to get what they want online!
So bottom line… there ain’t somethin’ for nothin’ online! Give it up… it ain’t happening!
Now, if you want to be a little more realistic, here’s a slightly more intelligent variation on the 24-hour money question:
Question: “Can you make money in 24 hours with no email list… and without spending ANY money to do it?”
Answer: Maybe… but most likely not.
If you do, you’ll do it because you:
1) Came up with one heck of an original idea AND
2) You found someone else with a list and / or a bankroll to help you get it off the ground.
Again, without a list (your own or somebody else’s) or without money (your own or somebody else’s) to drive traffic… you are NOT going to make money in 24 hours… END of story!
Does it have to be a big list? No.
Does it have to be a lot of money? No.
But you will definitely need one or the other (or both) if you want to have a prayer of making money online in 24 hours.
Now that I have thoroughly flogged this issue to death, it’s actually time to tell you a way you can use to make money online within 24 hours.
Have I done it before? Yes.
Have I gotten rich doing it? Not off doing it one time, no.
Is it guaranteed? No. (But then again, nothing is guaranteed. BUT, you can test and tweak it until you know for sure whether it will or won’t work for a specific niche market.)
So what is it?
Question: “How can you make money online in 24 hours or less starting from scratch, but with some money to invest to buy targeted traffic and / or access to your own list or somebody else’s list to drive traffic?”
Yes… there is!
It’s very simple really.
I don’t mean to sound overly simplistic, but this isn’t Rocket Science… It basically comes down to 2 things –
1.Targeted traffic… and
2.A way to convert that traffic into money!
There’s a ton of stuff out there on how to get traffic to a web page… so I’m not getting into that right now.
Suffice it to say that Google Ad Words can get you traffic within 15 minutes… what you do with it from there is up to you!

But here’s a way of looking at this process you’ve probably never thought of before:
You are actually running 2 ads here with 2 distinct purposes.
The first Ad is what brings the traffic… so it’s purpose is to get targeted clicks to the second ad, which is the conversion ad.
(Again, tons of stuff on Google Ad Words and other traffic sources for creating and running that first ad so I’m not going to spend time on that now.)
The second Ad is that helps you turn that traffic into money… and that is where a mini-site comes in.
At this point you need to ask yourself a what might seem a simple question, but it spells success or failure at this stage of the process:
What’s your purpose with your mini-site?
If your purpose is to make money within 24 hours of putting it up, then the type of mini-site you want to put up is one that either:
1) Sells your own product or
2) Sells someone else’s product through your affiliate link.
It’s actually so simple it makes you want to puke.
In fact, I can see and hear some of you rolling your eyes back and saying “I already know that!”
Well, if you’re rolling your eyes, then my question to you is… “ARE YOU DOING IT… or are you just sitting there THINKING about DOING it?”
My guess is, no, you’re not!
Or, if you are doing it, you’re not doing it enough to build up the momentum and achieve the income you want or need to get out of the rut you’re in.
So if you aren’t doing it (but you already know this “pattern” as old news), why aren’t you doing it?
Oh, oh, call on me… I know the reason!
You’re not doing it because it’s so simple and non-sexy that most people are too busy chasing the “teach me something new” train to see the REAL opportunities staring them straight in the face.
Everybody’s looking for something new to *think about* doing instead of just *doing* what works!
(Re-read that sentence a couple of times and see if it ever applies to you. I know it applies to me from time to time)
But you see, the whole game here is really simple
Put traffic across a mini-site (or “landing page” or whatever you want to call it) and continually
1) Tweak and test your ad for maximum targeted clicks, and
2) Tweak and test your conversion of those targeted clicks into money.
Now, in order to do this, you must constantly monitor 3 things:
1.How many people are clicking your ad?
2.How many people are converting into buyers for what you offer on the mini-site?
3.How much are you spending on advertising versus how much you’re generating in profit.
Those three yardsticks will give you the feedback to know whether the tweaks you make to your ads (both the traffic ad and the conversion ad) are making you more or less money.
They let you know if you’re getting closer or further away from your goal.
Now, let’s talk about what and how you should test your conversion ad (the mini-site “landing page”) to get maximum impact on converting visitors into money.
WHAT should you test?
1) First, test the main headline on the page (biggest mistake people make is not having a prominent headline… or even no headline at all!)
It’s been said that the headline is 80-90% of what makes a surfer decide to stay or “bail” on a website in the first 3-9 seconds.
I’ve personally seen a change in headline affect sales on a mini-site by 500% or more instantly (same traffic, different headline, 5 X Times the number of sales one headline vs. another… instantly!)
Spend most of your testing time (especially in the beginning) seeing which headline affects conversion the most.
2) Second, test bullets and benefit statements appearing early on in the page.
After the headline hooks them, bullets and benefit statements keep them interested and BUILD their interest and curiosity about the product or service you are trying to sell them, either your own or as an affiliate.
Bullets that work best:
a. Build up emotional in the reader:
i. Greed / desire for gain
ii. Fear of missing out or losing competitive advantage
iii. Desire for love and attentionb. Cause the reader to create a vivid picture in their minds
i. See themselves using and benefiting from the product or service
ii. See themselves enjoying an end-run benefit derived from purchasing
3) Third, test your “call to action.”
This is where a lot of people blow it because they are afraid to ask for the order. Just like in real life sales, people get scared to ask people to take action and give them money. Well, my response to that is, WHO CARES! Ask for the order. Tell them to:
a. ”Click Here NOW To Place Your Order” or
b. Fill in your name, email, and credit card information for instant access, or
c. Click Here Now to get the information you need to <get whatever benefit>
Test various calls to action, but the bottom line is don’t beat around the bush… tell people exactly what to do and were to go in order to do it!
HOW should you test?
Testing all this is actually pretty simple.
Now there is great debate about how you should test… what numbers you should test before making a change on your landing page mini-site or on your traffic generation ad.
Let’s look at these separately.
Testing the Traffic Generation Ad
If you’re using Google Ad Words, it’s pretty easy to test your traffic generation ad’s effectiveness at generating clicks.
Google lets you run and split test up to 3 ads at a time for a group of keywords. They will track how many times each ad is clicked and will automatically calculate which ad rates most effective. This enables you to run 3 ads, tweak them to find the best, then run new ads against your control ad to see if you can improve its performance.
If you are driving traffic from another source, such as a list, then you need to use a tracking link that allows you to measure unique clicks on the ad link. Three solutions that immediately come to mind are Lightning Track, 1 Shopping Cart, and Adminder.
In the case of an ezine ad or optin announcement, you can run a split test to test which ad gets the best response. Send ad “A” to ½ the list and send ad “B” to the other ½. If you have a different tracking link for each, you’ll be able to tell which ad generated the most clicks.
Testing the Traffic Conversion Ad (Mini-site landing page)
Here’s where things get slightly more complicated.
As you test headlines, bullets and your call to action, you need to test with equal amounts of traffic.
So run each change and tweak you make in front of 100 or 200 (or some larger but equal amount of traffic) to test one headline against another, etc.
Now some people say you should run a test until you get 25-30 "actions (subscriptions, purchases, etc.) by visitors to your site… and this is a good measuring stick once you have your site rolling or are getting a LOT of traffic. HOWEVER, when you’re first getting started this may not be a practical way to measure since you may have to test a bunch of stuff in order to get your first sale.
So, in the beginning, make sure you test your headlines and other site components against equal amounts of traffic from the same source so your tweaking and testing will be as valid as possible in as short a time as possible.
What do you do next?
Now, this statement might also seem overly simplistic, but…
The whole key is to spend less than you make and gather targeted optin subscribers you can market related products and services to in the future.
Bottom line here is that in order to make money in 24 hours, you need a source of traffic (I suggest Google AdWords) and a conversion piece, in this case a mini-site that sells either your own product or gets people to click an affiliate link.
Is this the only way to do it?
NO!
There are other ways to make money online in 24 hours or less… but this is the
method that I’m aware of that offers the best chance for the "average" Joe or
Jane starting out to put some money in your pocket quickly and use it to build
momentum.
Some words to the wise when it comes to putting this method into action:
1) Never put more money into buying traffic than you can afford to lose…
2) Never use bill money or rent money to buy your advertising…
3) Never put money on a credit card that you can’t pay off that month…
4) Never let your advertising bills add up over time… especially if you are making money. PAY OFF your debts first… and only spend what is left over!
5) TEST… TEST… TEST your ads to drive maximum targeted visitors from the ads to your conversion piece…
6) TEST… TEST… TEST your conversion piece to convert maximum visitors to take the action you want them to take (click your affiliate link, buy your product).
Here’s a thought I want to leave you with when it comes to all this. These are all hypothetical numbers, but it makes a point I hope you understand…
How a $10-a-day "Oil Well" Could Make You Wealthy
Let’s say you could get your little money-machine to the point that you were clearing $10 a day.
Maybe you got it working in 24 hours… maybe it took you a week to tweak it all out and get it to the point that it is making you $10 a day free and clear.
Now, $10 a day isn’t going to set you free financially… and most people would say that $10 a day might actually not be worth doing at all… but I would disagree. $10 a day free and clear can actually be the beginning of an online empire.
Here’s how:
Let’s say you can’t get one of these little oil wells set up every day.
Let’s say it takes you a week to get one going and tweak it to the point that it makes you $10 a day.
But let’s say you do this every week from now until July 1 (as of this writing, that’s 15 weeks)… each week you bust your butt and you create one little oil well and tweak it until you are netting a paltry little $10 a day.
Here’s what happens in 15 weeks…
In 15 weeks you would:
1) Net $8,400 for your efforts…
2) Have developed a $4,500 a month recurring income…
3) Have diversified your income across 15 different little streams that, if one of them dies or gets too competitive, you would barely feel the hit!
So my advice to you is simple:
Start asking a more empowering question about how you can make money fast online… and get a whole bunch of little streams of income set up to get you what you want.
The simplest way to do this is to buy traffic and send it to a mini-site that converts that traffic into either affiliate commissions or direct sales of your own product (or a product you’ve purchased resell rights to).
Do it over and over and over again… and remember to have some fun while you’re doing it!
… and YES… it really is that simple.

Who says so?
Here is what Robert Allen says all over the internet: “How to Make as much as $24,000 in 24 Hours on the Internet!”
And he goes on to say (like some bonus pile-on) he did not make just $24,000, he made up to $90,000 in 24 hours ….
Imagine you are a newbie (just like me back then) and you read that …. and you know something about this “reputable guy”, would you pull out your credit card and buy that ebook from him?
It is okay for Robert to use that line …. but when Frank Kern (or some unknown person) says such a thing, he gets run out of internet and out of town by some power that be
Anyhow, the point is: you can make money online in 24 hours …. the ClickBank screenshots prove it for so many “gurus” … so, who dares to dispute that (but little does the poor newbie know how to read between the lines of hype.

Sorry, but I don’t believe this is possible. The prep work alone takes some weeks (if you still have a day job).
However: is it important to make money very fast? Even if it takes 5 years to accomplish this: earning money while you sleep is a great feeling!

I think bottom line it comes down to this… if you believe you can, you can… if you believe you can’t, you can’t… and you’re right either way.
I didn’t used to think it was possible… now I know it is… but until you experience something like it, it’s beyond your belief.
I guess you just have to either want to do it… take it on faith that it can be done… and then do it… or say “This isn’t right for me”

It’s not as simple as it used to be, thanks to Google’s recent changes, but it’s still relatively *easy*!!
I doubt there’s a a quicker or cheaper way to START making money online, without having a list, being a “name” or investing in an obvious scam!

Glenn, I am sorry you don’t believe it is possible. The gap between making money in 24 hours and 5 years is too big. Nothing will happen with that mindset in all liklihood. I’m biased — Nick and I know one another, and he’s right. You have to get up off your rear and take action.
Jim doesn’t need his ego stroked, but his post was worth more than most $27 ebooks and $197 courses. It was specific and actionable. It had the non-sexy simple truths to building income streams online. There’s more than one way to do this but if you want a concise business model on direct selling online, you just read it.
The “I don’t have time, I have a day job” excuse is just that — an excuse all to often for people to spend time surfing the net, reading forums, buying yet another ebook, course, and ‘killer’ product… and doing nothing.
Taking action with a little investment in knowledge is a better solution. You take your failures with your successes and learn from both. Testing and responding to everything is the key.
Jim’s post was one of the best I’ve seen in a long time.

Wow! I am all over this! I heard a teleseminar between you and Alice Seba not that long ago on “How-To Mini-Site” and since then have been bouncing off the wall with ideas. Well, I put my ideas into action, and finished my FIRST mini-site at 4:30AM this morning!
You are so right…if you think you can, you can! I first started the site on June 20 with a goal of launching it by July 1. I missed the mark by 4-1/2 hours. Oh well.
This post here offered an awesome amount of info. and I am totally appreciative of it. Thanks!
