Here’s How to Finally Bypass The Merchant’s Forced Opt-In Page…

Remember a couple weeks ago when I shared my proven A,B,C,D list-building formula and the single biggest mistake affiliate marketers make? (Don’t worry if you missed one of them.  I have a recap for you in this video, so keep reading.)

In the last week or two, over 5,871 people came to the blog to watch these videos… and the majority of the comments posted were practically *screaming* for me to do a follow-up video.

With everyone wanting to know how to SKIP the opt-in page on the merchant’s site (so your prospects don’t have to opt-in a second time), your wish is my command!

I just made a *new* video which gives you 3 ways around this problem… so you can stop throwing money away and start getting your prospects to go where you want them… onto the merchant’s sales letter!

How To Avoid
"Double Jeopardy Opt-In"
As An Affiliate

Harjit Irani :

Hi Jim
I saw the video and it is very cool.
I have two questions though

1. That means the merchant is going to miss out on the email addresses??

2. A newbie’s site may not be as prompting as merchant’s sales page, wouldn’t it be more difficult to sell??

Thanks

Chris :

Hi Jim, that really cleared that up for me. Thanks!

Oh by the way, to quote Morgan Freeman’s character - Red - in the movie The Shawshank Redemption :

“Did I ever tell you that you are brilliant, A regular RemBrandt”

Take care Jim

-cheers

Jim,

Loved the video (I’m sure “Bob” did too)…I’m excited for minisitecreator 2!

Harijit…you can send people to the merchant’s sales page…that’s the whole point of his video….you are simply bypassing the merchant’s forced optin page (but that’s assuming they have one). The merchant gets to keep the email address if the person buys (but they won’t buy if you make them optin twice before seeing the sales page)….

Thanks Jimbo - very clever

- Jay

Aidan :

You suck!

You’re videos suck.

You’re voice is so fucking annoying too.

I was showing people how to bypass the merchant’s optin page and even their sales page more more than 2 years.

That means you suck!

Aidan

Steve :

Aidan
Where is your website?
Obviously you have not done a really good job of letting people know how to do this. If after 2 years most people don’t know how to do it.
If you don’t like Jim’s videos exactly why do you look at them and listen to his voice that you don’t like.
Sounds like someone has some envy to me. Maybe penis envy? LOL.
If you don’t like Jim’s work then stay away from his website. and if you will let me know where your site is I will do you the same favor and stay away from it.

Preparing a Opt in Campaign Helps You To Stay Focused
We all know after a short time online the World Wide Web is a place where there are numerous distractions. Losing focus is not only easy, it is the norm. One of the advantages of setting clear targets and having actual numbers of what to expect is that it keeps you very focused on exactly what you have to do in order to achieve the results that you are seeking. This is in sharp contrast to the half-hearted-trial-and-error way in which most of us start our online ventures. The reality is that we often end up expecting miracles from doing nothing.

Keep these videos coming Jim Excellent information delivered to our inboxes how cool is that saves time saves money searching one thought

No one can please all the people all the time but every one has the choice to decide what works for them?

James :

Hi, Jim

Thank you for your video demo of your “cool” software. I am a proud and grateful owner of Mini-Site Creator. I have three questions:

1) Will there be a discount/upgrade for previous owners of MSC1?

2) Is your link cloaker a desktop software or would one
have to upload to one’s server?

3) Is this link cloaker compatible with any web editor, including XSitePro which has it’s own redirect page functionality?

BTW, can’t understand people who resort to insults and abuse when all they have to do is walk on by if they don’t like what you’re doing or selling. I, for one, would gladly fast on bread and onions for a while just to be able to afford your next relatively high ticket product.

Kind regards.

James

James :

Hi, Harjit

Saw your post and wanted to add my comment to any Jim might make. In response to your good questions:

1) Yes, the merchant will miss the opportunity to collect names if the “squeeze/opt in” page is by-passed. But the merchant could create a “register your product” (opt in) box on his “thank you” page so he may have a more targeted list of customers referred by an affiliate.

2) The “newbie” affiliate will be redirecting his visitors to the merchant’s sales page instead of the very brief “opt in” or “squeeze” page.

The redirected visitor does not land on the Clickbank order page shown on the video. That was just a demo to show that the affiliate link “ebookfire.com” had been cookied.

The redirected visitor would only arrive at the Clickbank order page AFTER access to the sales page and when he/she clicked on the “Buy Now” or “Order” button.

Hope this helps to clear up any confusion.

Re: Paula / James

Guys,

I will be offering a *significant* discount to existing MSC customers.

Yes, there will be a couple of MAJOR differences:

1) SOFTWARE - I have no less than FIVE (5) pieces of software you get that are completely NEW and NEVER been released before that COMPLETELY automate the process of putting up your mini-sites (any of the 4 types we teach)

2) NEW Experience - I’ve learned a lot myself over the last 3 1/2 years and have incorporated that into the course.

So there’s going to be a great mix of what worked from the past along with making it much FASTER and more AUTOMATED.

Literally I’ve taken what used to take 2-4 hours to do (MBQ mini-site) and now have software that enables you to design the site, insert pictures, upload it, set up the script, check for questions and more… in under 5 minutes :-)

It’s VERY cool and I’ve actually been using it for a year now, just never shared it.

Would you like to see a demo?

Also, I will be sending out an email to all past MSC customers in good standing (make sure I still have your valid email) next week to let you know. But the discount will be significant.

BigJim :

Hi James,

1) see above :-)

2) the Affiliate Link Cloaker Pro 4.0 is PC desktop software that creates the cloaking redirect pages and uploads them to your hosting account(s) for you

3) I’ve never use XSitePro - but I assume if you can put links into the pages and upload to your own hosting, then you could use the ALC 4.0 Pro in conjunction with it.

Hope that helps… no need to eat just bread and onions :-)

Thanks!

Jim

BigJim :

Hi Harjit,

James covered basically what I was going to tell you.

The only thing I would add is that you, as an affiliate, WANT to get that subscriber so you can build a real business.

If you don’t, you’re just running a promotion that won’t last.

If the affiliate’s site isn’t as good as the merchant’s site, then they need to test and tweak to make it better :-)

Re: Aidan

Aidan,

What can I say?

Your issue isn’t with me, it’s with yourself.

I am, however going to leave your comment here (thought about deleting or editing it) so people can see the kind of BS *I* get to put up with that most people never see because I do delete it (since it serves no purpose).

I hope you really do teach and help people like you claim.

Jim

PS - if you don’t like the sound of my voice, go hire someone to transcribe the videos for you and then you’ll have an ebook :-)

James :

Hi, Jim

Many thanks for your prompt response. Delighted to know that discount will be available to us MSCv1 owners, thank you!

Yes, it would be great to see a demo. Anything that speeds up a site creation process must be good.

XSitePro from XSitePro.com is just another WYSIWYG web editor (creators claim that it’s THE marketers’ editor because it has in-built SEO functionality, in-built ftp, redirect pages and other bells and whistles included. Little or no learning curve unlike Dreamweaver).

Pity I can’t add my affiliate link, here, but would strongly recommend it to anyone who cannot spare the time or inclination to persevere with Dreamweaver or who does not have the budget for it!

But as your home study courses show, it is possible to build perfectly good sites using the free web editors.

Okay, re “bread and onions” it was merely to suggest that your courses were well worth the sacrifice!

Thank you, again.

James

Kevin Halloran :

Hey Jim,

Thanks for the video and being a real deal, especially when it counts. Unfortunately, the reality of the world is that there will always be those with ill-intent towards others.
While my own tendency is to respond with an immediate counter, your measured response is truly admirable.

Ignore them when you can, call them out if you have to, but don’t stop doing what you are great at, teaching others. They only come here because they can’t get attention otherwise. Consider it some kind of wacked-out compliment.

As a much satisfied customer of the original Mini Site Creator course, as well as numerous other of your products, I’d love to see a demo of the new MSC2, if you are so inclined. And, Keep up the excellent work, It Matters!

Thank YOU so much for YOUR comments ,

Ricky :

Hi Jim

Just a quick question. Is all the software that comes with mini site creator compatible with a Mac??
Thanks:)

BigJim :

Re: Ricky

Ricky,

It’s Windows software (XP / Vista)

If you can run Windows on your Mac then yes (or Virtual PC), it should work… if not, then no, it’s not going to work on a Mac.

Thanks

Jim

BigJim :

Re: Kevin

Thanks buddy :D

Jim

HI Jim and James.
Thanks so much for answering my questions.

Harjit Irani

Ricky,

If you don’t have a current Mac (which would run virtual PC or windows)…then just buy a new PC laptop for CHEAP to have access to Jim’s software.

Seriously, for a couple hundred bucks you can get a great publishing computer from Dell (or even Walmart)…there’s no reason a Mac should stop you from using all of Jim’s methods and software.

Jay

Barb :

Jim - I am on the list for Priority Notification, and look forward to seeing the product, but because I had some trouble with the freebie you offered a while back I’m wondering if the new mini-site creator will work on a Mac computer.

I’m hanging onto the old computer just in case.

Also, while I’m betting you have a fairly thick skin, I want you to know that Aidan’s comments were not well received here at all. I enjoy and appreciate your video’s and I’m learning a lot from them as I wade through all the tons of info available.

Thanks.

Re: Barb

Hi Barb,

Yes, you’re better off with a PC for the software, but if your MAC has Windows or Virtual PC, you’ll be good that way too (or should be).

Glad to hear you enjoy the videos and are learning from them… thank you for letting me know :D

Ron Schmidt :

Hi Jim,

I bought MSC 1.0 some time ago. :)

I’d like the discount for MSC 2.0, but I must tell you the truth.

I haven’t even done anything with MSC 1.0 other than read some of the initial instruction pages for the cours, and I do consider your teaching so valuable (and I do read just about every one of your e-mails and watch the videos) that I consider having your course as a ready reference guide to use when I start marketing on the web full time.

In other words, that’s how valuable I think Jim’s hands-on teaching has been (at least for me).

Keep up the great work Jim.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please make sure my name Ron Schmidt, Ogdensburg, NY and e-mail address (rs@marketingconsultantsgroup.com) are on your previous buyers who quality for a significant discount on MSC 2.0 list.

Rita :

Hi Jim,
Usually you expain things clearly. This video is an exception. So many pages flushes before a viewer’s eyes — which one is a stelth page? Where the clickbank page fit into this? Hm…

Kevin T. :

Jim! This program looks very cool!

I’ve been really interested in MiniSite Creator 2.0, but I have a couple of questions.

1. Will creator 1.0 still be available or will it be taken off the market when msc 2.0 comes out?

2. The little preview we get says 2.0 will be a live webinar course. So is there any physical product sent out or are the lessons going to be recorded so we can refer back to them?

I’m a visual learner and the whiteboard/camtasia/video lessons works great for me. But I also usually need to reweind and refer back to everything. So I’m a little curious how 2.0 work…

I’ve found out the hard way that finding good info to create these little basic sites (so ugly you wanna slap their momma!) is tough to come by! I’m tired of chasing dead ends and I’m looking VERY forward to seeing 2.0!

Sounds like Aiden sucks. Never heard of him.

Cary :

Jim -
For years I have dreamed of doing what you are teaching us to do. I know making money is important - but it is also obvious that you care about people and the success of those you are teaching. Thank you so much for the great gift you offer of practical tools so little available elsewhere.

My old website is like a big brochure that creates little activity. I am finishing up a house painting job to keep paying the bills/ have bought myself a few months of time - and am so excited I can hardly contain myself to put everything into practice and get it up and running.

While I paint I listen to the Traffic Stampede cd’s over and over to understand fully what’s in them. I have made it most of the way thru Mini-Site Creator 1 and am getting ready to use Website Video Secrets.

I just cannot thank you enough for providing tools to help my dreams become a reality. Keep it coming! I look forward to more about 2.0 (glad there will be a discount for MSC1 folks) - can’t wait to send you my active mini sites over the next few weeks/months.

For Mac users - I’m on a Mac Book which has both PC/Mac formats. Currently running Boot Camp so have to switch platforms - but considering installing Parallels so I can work both without rebooting. You can look any of these things up online for more info.

Julie :

Jim,

Just curious - will Affiliate Cloaker Pro 4.0 software redirect any page to another page you designate, whether or not it is an affiliate link? In other words, will this software work as a “shortcut” to quickly set up URL redirects?

Thanks in advance for your answer …

BigJim :

Hi Julie,

Yes, it sure will do that

Jim
