7 Pillars of Marketing a Local Business Online (New Article)

I’ve just launched my new newspaper column (yes, published in REAL newspapers every week) called Small Business Marketing Weekly.

The column focuses on marketing issues faced by small businesses who want to get REAL results with their online marketing (not the pipe dream stuff the bizz-opp gurus are pushing – this is REAL).

We’ve published our first article 7 Pillars of Marketing a Local Business Online and you can read it here.

Enjoy!

Jim

Hi Jim. Read and tweeted the article. I think #4 is one people miss all the time (myself included at times).

This next comment is a little off topic but I’d really appreciate hearing your take on all this. Have you heard about Google banning bridgeway websites?

Don’t mean to link drop but I think it’s right in line with what we’re all doing over here.

Thanks bud.

Congrats on the new gig Jim. I look forward to reading your insights into the needs of the “local/small business” community. My only regret is that you had to have your signature shirt made into a tie for the photo. ;)

Hi John,

I appreciate you sharing the video and article.

I am adopting a “wait and see” attitude on the issue of Google and “bridge” pages… I have my own theories as to what’s going on, but this isn’t the time or place to share them.
