Jim,
You make superb suggestions when it comes to increasing conversions on a mini site and I sure do appreciate your guidance.

What I am missing, and perhaps other readers / listeners too... is an understanding of how you, an experienced internet Veteran,

1) track conversions and store them for later analysis so that you can know for a solid fact that your Google Adwords camapaign X is worth the high cost and the Overture campaign delivered a lot of low converting traffic while the Yahoo organic leads converted well in March and April but not in August and the Google organic converted well only in June this entire year. Is there a software or a service that you can recommend that would be your tool of choice here? I noticed that nothing relating to this topic was included in your list of 7 favorite tools.

2) track all those conversions against the changes that you made on your site to know what changes resulted in and increase or decrease of conversions?

thanks very much!

Hope vs. Expectancy....
I appreciate the clarification. I walk around with great HOPE, but expecting that things will go is a different feeling. Great videos and thanks for sharing.

Jim,

That was honestly amazing. I love the clarity and the focus in your teachings. Fortunately most of the guru’s I’ve been following seem to be at the top of their game. But I know of a lot of people who are having trouble digesting a lot the information being thrown around. It’s funny that every one wants to learn all these advance techniques but don’t even have the basics yet. Your information and passion is amazing. I am so glad I found you.

Thanks,

Couldn't agree more with you and most off the comments above. I must confess I bought your Mini-site Creator course an number of years ago, and like so many, worked most of the way through it and then forgot about it when the next big thing came about untill I gave up on this whole IM thing.
I'm now seriously starting on this road to IM again, so I'm going to haul it out of the back of the cupboard and start from fresh as most of the other hyped products are either to advanced or incomplete or inconsistant to be of use to us newbies. The video's skyscraper analogy really gives the starting point in a nutshell

Keep on doing a great job.

Excellent, Jim. you not only tell it like it is, you help us focus on what really counts -- people.
It still leaves me with 1 question: HOW.
How do I figure out what people really want? (I mean, if s/he manages to hide it from her/his spouse, how will I figure it out?)
thanks,
Willem
