Thank You For Your Support!

 Hi Everyone,

Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers for my son-in-law and our family this holiday Season.

A LOT of you have been asking me to let you know how things turned out with Jon’s injuries suffered in Iraq as well as the Holiday gift idea request I made from everybody. (See www.IGottaTellYou.com/blog/ for past posts)

Well, I have some very good news to report:

Jon will be home tomorrow (12/20) for 2 weeks of leave from the hospital. He’s recovering from his wounds and has started physical therapy to try to regain use of his foot, which suffered severe nerve damage in the blast. We are very excited to have him home and he and I plan to smoke a turkey (or some other creature) on Monday!

We were so grateful for everyone’s suggestions and thoughts on what to send Jon’s entire company to brighten their Christmas day up a bit and let them know they are not forgotten. Your suggestions helped us figure out what we could do on such short notice to get something good into the mail in time.

To show you what we decided to do, my grandson, Johnnie, put together a little video for you. Even though he’s only 14 months old, he’s a chip off the old block when it comes to his Grandpa :-)

Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, Happy Kwanza and Happy Holidays to Everyone!
