Take Time To Chill :-)
A Friday Thought:
Why do we work so hard?
Is life a race from birth to death (and I’m trying to come in first)?
It’s important to bust your hump and “do good” in the world… but is it worth making yourself miserable on “the way” to happiness?
Is happiness a “future” event… or part of the process I seem to think is not a journey, but rather a destination?
Will anybody give a rat’s patoot that I worked 16 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year?
Will my tombstone say “He should have put up one more website!”?
Will my wife say “Wow, I wish he had checked his email one more time each day!”?
Am I building happy memories sitting here at the keyboard that I will cherish when I’m old… or will I have regrets?
Take time to chill… laugh… hang with your buddies… and don’t just chain yourself to the computer… the computer won’t be your friend when you’re 64!
